Our production has the following competences: Surface mount assembly,
Through hole assembly, Programming of µ-controllers, Testing PCB's,
Lacquering, Sub-assemblies, Cable assembly, Potting, Final Testing, Service
en Repairs. We have managed to organise production in such a way that high
productivity and flexibility go hand in hand. Quality is always our first
consideration.
PCB assembly
Smaller series for prototyping and pre-production are assembled manually by
a select group of employees. For automatic assembly we use a fully integrated
SMT production line which is prepared for "lead free" production. Our SMT line
has a net capacity for ±10.000 components per hour. This means we can complete
on average 250 to 500 PCB's every day, obviously depending on the complexity.
Following the surface mount process, through-hole components will be soldered
with our new "lead free" wave soldering machine.
Assemblage
The populated PCB's are then completed with cabling, mounted and often potted
in a housing. For this purpose we have developed a range of "standard housings"
to reduce the product cost for lower quantities.
Quality control
During all stages of production, we implement various quality checks. With the final
test, we check on specification, functionality and finish before it is packed and
shipped to the customer. A climate testing chamber is used to test extreme environmental
conditions when necessary. All this makes it possible for DIS to maintain a high quality
level not regarding the production volume. |
